Jen If is a survivor of Project MKUltra and Ritual Abuse.

Writer Jen If

MKUltra is an umbrella name for a series of illegal projects run by the US Central Intelligence Agency. It is known that the CIA manipulated peoples' mental states and brain functions by secretly drugging them with psychoactive drugs (especially LSD) and other chemicals without the subjects' knowledge or consent. Retribution has been paid to some people for this violation of individual rights and some files have now been declassified. Unfortunately, many more files were destroyed on the order of CIA Director Richard Helms. To learn about mind control on naïve subjects and read declassified American government documents about MKUltra explore here.

MKUltra allegedly ended in 1973 however, Jen and other survivors report memories of MKUltra continuing much more recently. Her poetry chapbook Monarch Child features poems from her experiences in 1986. â€‹

As a very small child, Jen If was abroad for years at a time where she and many other children experienced extreme physical and mental torture that included drugs, hypnosis and sexual violation. When she was in the UK from twelve to eighteen years, she suffered Ritual Abuse. She was repeatedly bought, sold and exploited into adulthood.

Poetry is the way Jen If connects and explores her emotions to achieve healing. She has a Bachelors degree in English Literature and a Masters in Creative Writing.
